i hit a deer last night and i need to know if there is a diffrence in the two door bumpers and the four door bumpers. I drive a 98 civic four door

 

Well I know that there is on 92-95. The front bumper for the 2 door has the main grill for the radiator and then 2 on the side for the fog lights. I think the new civics have just a one whole bumper for the 2 door and the other for the 4 door, but I am not fully sure. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

 

I should have been more clear i need to know about fitment not apperance thanks

 

Im not 100% sure but fitment shouldnt be a problem..
however they do look different.

Every where ive looked the 98 two door and the 98 four door have the same part number for the bumper

 

I just looked at http://www.certifit.com/ and it doesnt specify 2 or 4 door with the front bumper it just says bumper cover 96-98 front.

 

I believe they are different. I think the 2 and 3 doors have the same bumper and the 4 door is different as with many other civic years.

ha,i remember this company. we used to called them "Sorta-fit" because the fenders and stuff were never quite right. made in thailand and mexico i think.

anyways, maybe you could find a ricer who put a body kit on his car and buy his OEM front bumper off of him.

 

They are the same, my friend has a 2 door and i have a 4 dr and we once swapped bumpers to see if he would like my lip on his car. They sell aftermarket front bumpers (ground effects) based on your year not on how many doors u have. The buddy club bumper fits on a 4dr or 2 dr. Its the sides that are different.

 

ive never had a problem and ive bought numerous items from certifit, good luck finding 35$ bumpers new anywhere else.. i had a stubborn rear bumper once tho
