when did it come on? have you had the wheel off, dash off, disconnected any of the airbags. it's pretty much saying that there's a short in the system, or disconnect. if the car was turned on with an airbag unplugged the light will remain...

just take the cluster out and remove the light bulb. but leve the yellow plug in so the bags will still work

i believe you can check the srs light just like the CEL's. it throws codes. find out what code its throwing and look it up.
