I realize that I do not have an Ek but the part is. I did my rsearch on this. My problem is this. I have a throttle body off of a 2000 Si. There is a sensor that is missing off of the top. I jsut plugged it, and the car runs pretty clean. From what I see from past post, this looks like a MAP sensor. I have also been told that it is a MAF (which does not really make sense) and a TPS. It is a vaccum line that sucks in. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Also, is the sensor even needed. I do not have any complaints on my car running, i just want to know if I am hurting it. I had the same problem with my Si but infact u do needed for the ecu so it wont turn on the check eng light but u can still runthe car with out it is really up to u...
