Default PS & cruise control removal

I have a b20 in a 00 si (im not to sure if any of that is relevant but you know now) & my cruise control is busted, no can figure out what wrong with it. Also I need some help figuring out how to properly remove my PS components.

Basically any and all info on how to remove these to things would be greatly appreciated. Ive done a few searches on PS removal but none are very detailed & im trying to screw my car up to bad.

1.) Why?

2.) Your cruise control may not be working because of the SIMPLEST thing. My GSR's cruise didn't orignally work because the clutch pedal was out of adjustment...and was always partially depressed, causing the switch to be open.

3.) look for the screen name "Padawan". He's a mod here, and has power steering removal advice, and I believe he sells a kit. There's fluid in there that lubricates the gears inside the rack and pinion as well as provides hydraulic force.

unbolt the cruise control module in the engine bay. its 2 or 3 bolts i think. unplug it. you have to disconnect the criuse control cable from the top o the gas pedal, and on the fiewall you simply twist the grommet/clip that holds the cable.... its pretty simple to remove.... steps not need to be in this order...

1: Buy padawan's power steering loop kit.

2: just fix the cruise control. It's 10x more of a pain in the *** to remove it than it is to fix it 9 times out of ten.
