i have a 92 civic vx w/ ls swap and i keep getting a o2 sensor code. i have replaced the sensor and reset the ecu by removing the proper fuses, and have also traced the wires from the ecu to the engine harness and all seem to be ok. i have also been swapping ecu's to see if one is bad. what is wrong with my car??

 

Are you sure it's even an O2 code? What's the code? Unless you used one of those readers that plug directly into a plug on your car and tells you exactly what it is.

But if you obtained the code through CEL blinks, post it up or double check it.

 

its always a code 1. and it only happens after i drive for like 15-20 mins.

 

Make sure your using the right type of 02 sensor, because some ECU's read for 3 wire, where as some read for 4 wire. depedning on the motor

 

i have never heard of a 3 wire o2? i have a 95 ls 5 spd ecu and a 4 wire o2 from a obd1 accord i believe.
