Magnetic drain plug to pull any kind of loose metal from motor oil or tranny fluid.
In his case that is not the kind of thing u want to see in any tranny or engine for that matter.

The mainshaft bearing started to go as well as it nolonger shifts into reverse.
The problem with all this is, I left the car/motor/transmission at a friends house because at the time it was race only, and I started hearing all these stories about him taking it out and racing firebirds and mustangs and ****, come to find out, he had and he had fucked up my transmission.
The tranny doesn't grind, so I might be okay with a couple case bearings and a shift fork, but i'm expecting the worst.
I will probably take it to Tom's shop for analysis, apparently he's got some guy up there that is the cat's *** when it comes to transmissions.

Did you have to? I trust my friends but i wouldnt leave the keys
It was his car and my motor, we were leaving it there in his garage to deter theft, and **** happened I suppose.
He has no interest in repairing it, so really I have nothing I can do other than tell eveyone I see that he is a gigantic piece of ****.

It's not like i depend on that motor anyway, I have my main car and i'm just waiting until the "right" civic comes along to swap the gsr back in.
