Default 97-01 CR-V Steering Wheel In EM1

Looking at the CR-V steering wheel/airbag, and they look almost identical to 96-2000 civics, except they're surprisingly sportier. Are they the same # of splines? Same diameter? My steering wheel is all worn and torn from the previous owner, and if the Cr-V wheel will fit into it, I'm gonna go with that. Any input?

There's a thread for that.

In the future, please search first.

I actually did search for it, but I'm new to the forum, and I'm still learning my way around. I apologize, and thanks for the link!

It's all good. Also for future reference, the forum search tool absolutely ******* blows massive and multiple donkey dicks. You'll find things a LOT easier if you go to Google, and type in "[search query here] site:honda-tech.com", minus the quotation marks and brackets.

For that link, "Honda Civic steering wheel compatibility site:honda-tech.com" will find it with a quickness.

Default Cr-V Steering Wheel In EM1

Picked up a steering wheel/airbag from a Cr-V out of a junkyard today, and it's a perfect swap into a 96-2000 Civic I've only seen the cr-v with a dark grey steering wheel, and luckily my Civic's interior is a type K, so it looks completely stock! Check it out!

This should be a 97-01 CRV. All trim levels had this wheel. Only came in Type K.

Sorry for old thread bump but must add some info. Have same problem and just found same thing, that 97-01 CR-V is almost same like 96-00 Civic but according "the List" even 01-05 Civic wheel will work. My Civic is EK3 for EU market and I have bolt not nut like 7 Civic and holder for airbag is not same. So better swap is CR-V to Civic (Europe market ) then other models. Even 96-00 US model have nut not bolt.

^^^^^^^ Just make sure the airbag was replaced in the 01-05 Civic steering wheel, a lot of those were recalled.
