ok i just bought a jdm h22a to swap into my civic. but i would like to know what year it is for it need some misc. parts so how do you read the date code one the head cause it has like 3 dials the first one points to the letter A the second one points to the number 6 and i cant make out the last one.oh is there a way to get what i want to know from the serial number and how would i do this cause i tried to call the local honda dealer with my serial number and they just laughed and said this is not something that they can assist me with?

 

on the block does it say h22a with a number after it? or is it a true jdm and only says h22a?? also what ecu are you running?

 

no its a true h22a and i have a p13

 

i believe its a 93-96 obd1 h22
