engine problems
I bought an ek hatch the otherd day with a b18c in it. Well everything seemed fine until i got it home i looked over everthing and i realize that theres oil on the top and bottom of the spark plugs, no coolant, barely any oil (keep in mind i drove this **** an hour and a half back to my house, and for some stupid reason i didnt check that **** before i got the damn car). So i took my old accord to work today got back and desided i was going to clean up some of the oil out of the spark plugs, so i soaked it all up and put it back together. Started the car and smoke was coming out the tailpipe like a ****. So i got a couple questions: First what should i do about the spark plugs? replace spark plug gaskets/valve cover o rings? and second why is it smoking so much, the smoke is like a blue/white color.(it wasnt smoking last night on the drive home)

Re: engine problems (blackflag188)
soap ? then u put it back in ? LOL
oil on the spark plug is blow by from bad rings... or in some cases if your lucky u will just splash it on the plug, clean it, and never see it again...
back when this happened to me in my stock setup i took the plug out and replaced it with brand new 1, also drained the oil and changed it.. i have yet to ever see oil on my plugs again....
wasant very smart of u to use soap even if u dry it off.. now you better just plain replace the plugs and wires and that will fix your problem, clean out the firing chamber with a rag and extensioner, get all of the oil out.
