^^^^ They're overpriced, but they do make a good product

rustydusty1717 10-25-2008 01:40 PM

any cheaper ones? also is there a huge different from stock to performance ones? rougher ride, more noice etc etc.

Check out Innovative or Avid mounts...little less than Hasports. But Hasports FTW, you wont regret the extra cash spent.

rustydusty1717 10-25-2008 02:50 PM

well do i have to worry about my engine randomly falling out of the car if i use Avid or Innovative? if they are knowing for breaking very easily then i will use hasports but i don't like the price.

No, how much power are you making?

rustydusty1717 10-25-2008 09:35 PM

the motor is still being built but we're hoping for 350 WHP.

Re: (rustydusty1717)

Any of those 3 will be fine bud. 350whp is my goal too w/ my LS-T EK coupe. GL with your build! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: (scbmx87)

what about with a low hp motor?
would filling the mounts with windshield glue work?

rustydusty1717 10-26-2008 11:34 AM

i can't seem to find a price on the avid or innovative mounts. i found the ones i need but there's no price. also if i went and got stock ones would they work? or just upgrade now

scbmx87 10-26-2008 02:24 PM

Re: (rustydusty1717)

Search around, you'll find them. I would upgrade now.

Should be these...

Do you have a 2 or 3 post block mount on the drivers side? It should be 2 post...

Avid, some of the best mounts out.

rustydusty1717 10-27-2008 08:19 PM

i have no idea if it's 2 or 3 post. and i can't even check cause the car is in the parents garage and i live on other side of the city as them.

Re: (rustydusty1717)

Keep in mind your car will vibrate like hell now, the dash is going to be vibrating like crazy, when at idle and the noise from the chassi is not good in my mind. I put my stock motor mounts back on, and I have no problems and a quiet car inside with boosted power also on a B16A2 motor.

If you buy the Hasport mounts you will love them no regrets, but the vibration is no good at all to me.

rustydusty1717 10-28-2008 02:25 PM

i'd rather not have my car shake like hell. the car is mostly a street car. might take it down track a few times but i'd rather not have everything shake like hell

Get Innovatives. My Innovatives feel like stock (and the ricer in me wishes it rattled more).

I asked an Innovative rep which mounts I should get for 200whp.
-60A
300whp?
-60A
400whp?
-75A

They make some 95As even. They aren't going to break. lol

sintype 10-28-2008 02:44 PM

either hasport or innovative. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

rustydusty1717 10-28-2008 09:52 PM

innovative mounts it is!

cycopath 10-29-2008 09:25 AM

Re: (rustydusty1717)

I have a H22 in my EG and they are SOLID BILLET and there is NO vibration at all. I mean NONE

Avid mounts FTMFW!!!!

BuddahEG 10-29-2008 09:35 AM

any of the mounts mentioned will be good for your motor. they should all be able to handle the power you make. GOOD LUCK with whatever you choose!
