can someone make a quick summary of the engine codes (h22 etc...) so i know what engine people are talking about

and what is the engine code for a 2000 civic hatchback SOHC 1.6L

On the JDM b16a, it won't be labled with the number designation, either. Like the 1,2,or 3. I'll say "B16A" on the badge plate, and it will more than likely start with a 5 in the serial number. I think it's possible for them to start with a 1 as well, but don't quote me on that.
