dome light - black light

Default dome light - black light

I got a friend who is wondering if he can get a black light bulb to replace his dome light, they sell em?

not sure, but the just to throw in my 2 cents, That small of a bulb isnt gonna put out much of a glow. I mean, have you ever hooked up a UV lightbulb? Even at that size they dont do much. But good luck...

Yea, he doesnt really care about the black light effect, just wants a dark colored light.... any ideas how he could do this anyone?

so he wants his dome light to be dark?

just dont turn it on, dosnt get much darker then that.

color the bulb with a marker or something.

i had those in every light bulb socket in my old accord (dome/map/doors). they looks sick (dark blue/pruple kinda like black light). but i got sick of them cuz i couldnt see anything at night.

coloring them with a marker? never really even though about that, how effective would that be? any certain type of marker to use?

I found the blacklight dome lighting on https://www.extremebrightleds.com just look up the dome bulb size.

I’m years too late to this thread but I know this will help someone look for the black light. I got a cool shift **** that is fluorescent and I can’t wait to see it under the light.
