Default CTR Steering Wheel on EJ2

I am interested in doing a CTR steering wheel install on a EJ.
Has it been done and what all needs to be done in the install? I have one in my EM1, would it be just like that install or different? Thanks

Won't fit, sorry. You can use the Integra Type R steering wheels though, which are identical to the CTR wheels in design.

ITR Non-SRS:

ITR SRS:

See, both are identical to the CTR wheels, but they will fit your car.

Because the splines on the steering column are different.

DC2/DB/EG have the same splines.

EK/BB/AP1/AP2/DC5/EP3/FG/ZE all have the same splines.

Yep, look at the wheels above, they're the exact same wheel as the CTR wheels, just with different splines.

yeah I have a CTR wheel in my Si but was wondering about my project. So a SRS ITR wheel is the one I'm getting I guess.

ITR will not work. A CTR wheel will. What also looks sick is a DC5R or EP3R wheel. It costs more, but I think looks better than an EK9 wheel.

AP1/AP2 wheel would be nice in an EK. I had no clue that would fit. Thanks Eran.

Nice information, i've always wondered. I've seen a few SRS ITR wheels but they go for 400 bucks...might as well fly to japan, might actually be cheaper.

AP1?

I bet I could get an insight steering wheel out of a junkyard pretty cheap.

Looks just like an s2k wheel.

Why is this? I was given good info on why an ITR WILL work but a CTR wont.

Can you tell me why an CTR will work and an ITR wont?

He wasn't talking to you. He was talking to someone with a 2000 Civic. The CTR will work for them, but not you. The ITR will work for you, but not them.

Kapeesh?

Idiot question: If I swap a ITR wheel into a 95 EG, will the airbag still work? I'm a little slow.
