Default Cryogenic intake system

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has ever used it on their car....Its basically a bulb that is drilled into the intake tube...and it chilled the air by %50......The co2 is used to chill the bulb.

Here is the link incase anyone didn't know what i am talking about...

I heard the gains are about 20hp....does someone have any imput...

I would like to hear feedback from this on a N/A set up car.

Also does anyone know if you could do a purge kit to this? Would it work just as well as nitrous does???

thanks everyone for any help u have on this topic.

Alex

Sounds like it could help out..

and i would not give the same amount of horsepower as a NOS kit..
but it should be less harmful to your motor.

thanks for the responce.

I wasn't expecting the gain to be as high as nitrous would.....But the selling feature on this is that it wouldnt blow your motor. I heard the gains are about 20hp.....which obviously isn't near a 50 shot of nitrous....but i have a feelin the cryo would help me out more then nitrous would.

Has anyone everyused this on a N/A car???

Thanks again

I doubt the gains are 20hp but looks like a good product.

personally, i can't see an N/A engine making any more power with that hooked up than it would on a really cold day. you'd be lucky to see a few horsepower.

i know on cars with coolant passages in the throttle body are modified to run nitrous for an added cooling effect but it is really "track only."
