Default Code #6 ect need HELP!!!

as the topic says i have a b16 an cel came on, i put a paper clip in the plug n it flashed 6 times, ETC code. I installed a new coolant temp sensor the two prong one n light still on. the other sensor(one nipple) is for the gauge cluster i might be wrong and the other 2 prong for the ecu. the coolant temp is reading on the gauge cluster what else could it be.

Signal wire from the sensor to the ECM. Disconnect the ECM and check the wire/sensor in question for continuity. More than likely a contaminated connector. Oil likes to get in there and soften the plastic, and the pins back out.

Clear the code from the ECU and, when or if the CEL turns ON again, retrieve code and see whether code is still 6.
