here is what happened. my motor blew out about 6 months ago so the car has been sitting here. before the motor went, i ran on this setup for 3 yrs almost. I just swapped in the new motor into a 92 civic hb. it is a d15b2 motor. I took everything off my y7 motor. I had a turbo setup. everything the same. Well the car starts up and runs but idles high at like 2000 but i cant rev past 3k rpm. I checked for codes and i get code 16 for injectors. Would running a safc2 cause this code? I tried messing with the safc2 but its not affecting anything .. I have dsm 450's in there with the resistor pack. Anybody help me out with this code? I need to get the ecu out of limp mode. any help is greatly appreciated..

 

run the engine and pull off each clip one at a time and if the idle changes then you know that injector is working fine. If nothing changes on one or more of the clips then somethings wrong there also sounds like it needs a proper ems and a dyno tune

 

if nothing happens on one of the injectors does that mean that one is bad?

 

the car sat with the old motor in it for 6 months or so.. i never touched it.. so i dont know why now when the new motor is in and it starts up and now says injectors code.. causing limp mode
