Civic 2000 EX H2B ECU question
Hello guys, I’ve done some research as to why I have 2 A plugs on my ECU but no clear cut answer. The car runs and drives but the main problem I’m running into is the speedo or tach not working, nor is my radiator fan turning on automatically. I was wondering if these issues were related to my clearly extra plug lol and if so how do I go about it? Thank you!
ps: when I use the A connector coming from the engine harness the car runs and drives but when I use the other A connector the car doesn’t turn over, it’ll crank but no start and a CEL turns on whereas the other A plug from the engine harness I have none of that.

Your photo shows the ECU end of an OBD-2A engine harness in the cockpit of an OBD-2B Civic... and this is why you have the "extra" plug. You need to build a new engine harness starting with a '99-00 Civic engine harness foundation, purchase an OBD-2B -> OBD-1 ECU adapter harness, and you will be fine.
