My check engine light keeps coming on. It gives a code 1, for oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor is new and it still gives the code. I just put dc sport 4-1 header. I believe that the header is making the ecu give this code. If anyone has had this problem. Please let me know how to fix it. I have done other work to the engine. If anyone has any ideas??

did you happen to reset the ECU? sometimes the ECU will not clear the code unless it is reset

ya i have reset the ecm many of times and it is stays off for a little then it just comes back on

i'm assuming you had to extend the O2 sensor to reach the bung on the DC header correct? if so, check the wiring.

yes the sensor had to be extended. The wires are fine. All are connected good. I think maybe the back pressure from the header is maybe different than the stock header.
