u shouldnt wet sand it...
leave that to the professionals
u can do more harm than good
looks like u need to claybar it
then just get a good rotary polisher & some quality rubbing & polishing compound
then wax it...

the only prob with taking it to professionals is they will have the car for at least 2 days probaly more and i cant go that long with out a car because of my job...
im gona try using like 2k grit paper so i really cant mess it up

hmm paint that looks like that does need a wetsand, but badguy's right you should let the pros do it. Whereever it was painted they did a **** job. If your willing to try just search for guides on how to wetsand it right.
Megiuars has some nice compound, I normally use #66 however they have more aggressive if needed, your local auto shop should be able to recommend some good choices if you take your car there.

it was a shitty job... there prep sucked too you can still see swirl marks from an orbital sander... im not trying to make it perfect just so it looks decent
wetsand with 2000 gritside to side(horizontal) and buff it out with 3M swirl and scratch remover, it is made to remove scratchs from wetsading and such. pm me i have more stuff u can buff with but i gotta go look at what i have and can recommend to you which will bring the shine out in your car

its a side job from a guy that workes at a professional detail shop he said if it were to be done during the week it would take a couple of days and cost more like 250-300
he showed me a hood on a durango that had the same problem and it came out looking really good so im just gona fork out the 150 and hope for the best
