i'm just doing some more research on some engine swaps and would like to hear from the B20 people what kind of mileage they're getting

 

uhhhh ive got a b20 with crower 402's and some other ****...think she pulls about 25-30 on the highway...that is if i dont get on her at all

 

dont know my gas mileage but ill tell you i get better gas mileage then my old LSvtec setup,..it doesnt do to bad on the gas i know that,...my b20 setup is:

LS intake manifold
LS tranny
OBD2 to OBD1 conversion
homemade intake
SI piping with ES oval muffler and type R cat
Type R headers
MSD wires
and other little miscellaneous parts
14.96 with full interior on kumhos

all in all i highly suggest this swap,..great torque and its fun to drive

 

So how many miles do you guys get per tank daily driving?

 

B20 vtec. GSR head, ITR cams/manifold, header, lots of other stuff, ect.....

I get around 450-500km's on 11 gallons.

 

Most Ive gotten was 375/tank in a B20/LS tranny Integra.

 

i think im close to this,..like i said,..my b20 does better on the gas then my LSvtec setup in my other car

Alright, my B20vtec is in. I'm getting about 225-250 miles per tank.

GSR tranny
Skunk2 IM
Stock pipping

Don't know how some if you get 300+miles per tank, that's amazing. Or maybe you guys drive like a grandma.

i now have a b20/vtec and i filled her up and i was beaten her most of the way on the trip, total the trip was 167 miles, and i used a half tank...not to bad

 

hmmm....i think my car is retarded. i have a 2000 hatch with stock engine, except for a tenzo R intake and some high flow sp wires.i usually never go over 4k rpm

and i just went 150 using about 3/4 tank. Normal? i expect a little better. am i revving too high or something? or do things need replacing about now.

i just picked the car up with 45k miles

 

i get around 230 miles per tank with my d16z6... sometimes less depends if i step on it alot or not... i can get more if it's strictly highway driving

i shift at 2.5-3.5k, with the occasional 1-2-3 redline, and my best is 420 on my 98 d16y8. of course, it helps that i drive it until the car starts stalling. when i got the 420 i barely made it to the gas station, on turns the engine would die then come back to life on its own

 

i get about 280 per tank b20b with si trans.. could prob. streach it about 300.. eg hatch

 

about 230 with a crappy zdyne tune and td04 turbo intercooled

 

b20b/p72 head/ b16 tranny...motor is currently being swapped. Should I expect around 280 a tank?

The GSR tranny is probably the problem.

 

b20 ek
300miles on a full tank
200 with a bad o2 sensor

i had this same setup with the same problem..

 

LSvtec (11.0CR, chipped p28, stock fuel system, no tuning) GSR tranny. 23-25mpg highway, 20-22 short city trips. Conservative driving, 3k rpm shifts. Disappointing.

 

mine does around 30-33 km's per galon on the city..
