Default 99 si with b16a cel code problems.

ok i got a 99 si it has a b16a in it , and im getting codes for crank position sensor and knock. i know the b16a ..dosent have the crank sensor .. but i changed the knock to a new one and im still getting the code.my car is hesitating a little and feels sluggish. any help would be good. would i be better off getting a jumper and running a p28?
if i dnt need to i wont id like to fix the problem instead of just avoiding it but if i have to i dnt mind either

23 = knock sensor
54 = CKF sensor (not CKP sensor)

Do you have a CKF sensor installed by the crank gear?

Have you checked the knock sensor wire with a multimeter (short or open)?

There may be a wire trick to eliminate the CKF code.

You need to check the KS wire with a multimeter to ensure that it's good. If so, the KS or ECU is bad.

Short = Short to ground
open = broken wire

A multimeter is needed to do these tests.

Ok, so I tested the wire/ plug with multimeter and its getting signal, I rewired the plug everything is good. I reset the ecu .. unplugged the battery / removed back up fuse .. and it cleared the code. Went for a ride let it warm up went into Vtec a few times pulled over code 23 knock sensor came popping back up I dnt know what else to do.
