97 dx coupe w/b16a2 complete just a couple questions?????
I know these are probley common questions but i searched and could not find what i was looking for. What ecu conversion harness do I need for this swap? Tach and speedo dont work but gas and engine temp do. The radiator fan does not come on when its supposed to causing it to over heat in traffic, I suspect it has something to do with the guages not comoing on becasue they probley need a harness.
car is all obd II
Any help appreciated!
Thanks, James

Well, thats your problem, my man.
Your '97 civic is obd2A while the '00 engine and harness are obd2B.
Although the harness is similar to your '97, all the pins at the ecu are in different locations.

Im not sure if there is or not.
You might have to get your hands on a helms manual.
Most people just reuse their obd2A harness, put that on the motor, then get a obd2A to obd2B jumper harness and then plug in the obd2B ecu.
