Default K20 differences

I searched and found very little about the differences between our motor the K20Z3 and the K20A, or the K20 thats in the RSX which I dont know the engine code for. So obviously the K20A is the most powerful motor, but the Z3 compared to other K20's is ours the same or better. Any info is greatly appreciated. And how far off is ours to the K20A?

The only way I could explain it to someone would be to use other motors for example.. (not saying in any way these motors are the same.. just using them as reference)

Ill use b series since they are the easiest

A k20a.. the type R motor would be like.. well a type r.. b18c5

The k20z3.. would be like a USDM b18c

The k20a2.. would be like a jdm b18c

Not sure if that makes any sense to anyone else, but its the best I could do

That doesn't really make sense

K20a is the type R motor. 220hp or whatever it is. little differences between it and the type S motor like pistons (compression ratio) and cams

K20a2 is the RSX type S motor 200hp and change

K20z3 is the Civic SI motor 197hp with TSX head and EURO R intake manifold

K20a3 is the last Civic SI motor (also base model RSX) with 160hp, silly vtec made it a 12 valve motor on the low end of the tach. Has stamped steel oil pan instead of cast aluminum like the K20's listed above

I was just trying to relate it to something

k20a - b18c5

k20a2- jdm b18c

k20z3- usdm b18c

The way I meant it was if you knew the differences between the bseries.. the differences in the kseries is pretty much the same

the k20z1 wasnt included in there. wasnt the only difference between the k20a2 and the z1 was some different head components such as cams, retainers, and valve springs? im not positive at all, but thought i read that somewhere. didnt know for certain and thought i would put it out there

Well when I chose this avitar I wasnt looking to see if someone else had it, I just picked it and now I see this guy has it. Yes he has been on here longer and nobody is trying to compete. If it will make everyone feel better I will change it since I copied this guy.
