Default '08 vs. '07. Physically the same, correct???

So my "guy" got back to me, well his wife did (they run the business together) She told me that they couldn't order any new bushings or strut bars for my '08 because they "haven't been made yet". Then told me to check back in a few months. All of the parts listed as 06+ should fit right? She has got to smokin' somethin, right??

With this being said, i know that there are electrical differences (TPMS, etc.) but aren't the gear box and chasis the same?

I'm gunna get back to HIM and see what HE thinks. What say YOU???

Search it alot of people keep asking this. From what ive read they are the exact same except for some of the ECU updates which 06 and 07 civics can be updated with at the dealership. Any aftermarket parts for the 06 and 07 will fit and 08 but if the person working at the autoparts place doesnt know that and puts 08 civic into there system they dont get anything because its so new.

A bunch of little stuff. '08's have a shift boot with red stitching...really minor stuff... all parts are able to be swapped, between years.

For some reason the 08Si headlight part numbers are different from the 06Si and 07Si part numbers.

maybe something diff in the back of the housing or maybe the mirror has a small change? hell idk... those are the only reasons i can think of the part # being different
