Default Steering problem

My 2004 Civic VP coupe steering has been giving me problem sicne i bought it last year. Every so often when I'm driving or when I'm pulling out of a parking spot it feels like the power steering goes out and it is extremely difficult to steer. I have taken it to several shops to look at it but the tell me there is no problem. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be.

I've seen those cars come in before and get sent back out.. I've found those power steering pumps have worn out. Take it to a dealer since it's a common problem. There should be a service bulletin out on it by now.

Good Luck

Thanks, thats the first straight answer I've recieved. I knew it might have been the pump but the shops I took it to had told me it was fine. Thanks again.
