Default Power Window Problems

I have a 2001 Civic 4dr EX, my driver side window doesn't close when I roll it up unless I hold it to the left to keep it from leaving the tracks as I roll it up.

I ordered the window regulator because someone opened my door and told me the little plastic piece holding the window is broken.

When I received it, it wasn't the same as what was in my door. The original regulator has two plugs - as in there's two spots to plug stuff into it. The one I ordered has one spot to plug something and a wire/cable coming out of it. I returned it, and went online trying to find the right part - but when I put in 2001 Civic EX Sedan Front Driver Side I get a picture of the same regulator (with a cable coming out of it).

Any ideas?

IIRC, the regulators with the cable running out of it is a sedan rear window regulator.

Check hondapartsdeals.com to see the images the dealership would see if they were to look up the part for you. That site also has the stock part numbers, which might cross reference to other, aftermarket part numbers.

I'm trying to search that site, but I can't find window regulator, is there another name for it? Also, what's the difference between KA and KL and does it matter? It asked me that when I tried to put my car info in.

Thanks for helping though!

Ah, I see. I was looking under "Electrical"

I wish they had a clearer image. It's still a little hard to tell and my guess is that there's still a cable coming out of that one.

My car is salvaged, maybe they just pieced the door together with random parts?

You don't just search it by typing in your query.

KA and KL are just emissions ratings. If you look below the drop down menus you'll see the explanations. It won't matter for most parts though.

It looks like the regulators are listed in:
BODY / AIR CONDITIONING
FRONT DOOR WINDOWS

Apologies, I see all my posts were moved - meaning I should have probably just started a new thread. I'm new
