i have a 2001 Civic EX. it still has the stock security system installed. atleast once a day my security system will randomly go off and stay on till i remove the fuse for the security system, wait about ten or fivfteen minutes, and try again. some times it goes on for so long i remove the horn fuse so it will shut up. im really tired of this problem so can someone help me. and if there is no help can someone tell me how to completely remove the system. thanks alot.

 

do you still have the warranty? im not sure what it may be but you can ask the dealership.

 

im not 100% sure if its still covered.

 

It never hurts to call the Dealer ship and Confirm. if not then check the Car Manual for Alarm Related Hardware. then you can narrow it down to that.

hehehe having the trial tag i understand that you didnt even bother to Search the security topic in the 01-05 civic FAQ thread. it gives you all the information you really need to know.

as for instalation you can search or request to learn from people but if theres a topic already about it prepare to get flamed. its the way of the noob ^_^
