Build Thread (01 EX Coupe)
Figured I'd start a build thread... Nothing too special or anything but just going to keep track of everything I do.
Here are my plans so far...
First is a few things that need to be taken care of before modding:
Belts
Tires
PCV valve
Ball joints
Brake pads
Rotors
Oil change
Suspension Plans:
1.5'' Megan lowering springs
Tokico shocks (Blue? Idk yet suggestions are welcome)
Rear camber kit
Audio:
JVC KD-AHD69 headunit
0 AWG KnuKoncepts wiring
Big 3 in 0 AWG
2 12'' Crunch GPV's
MBQuart ONX1500.1
Exhaust:
Megan 4-1 Header
Megan Catback
Engine:
Intake (suggestions welcome)
Crower Stage 1 Cam
So far that's all I got, I know it's not gonna be a race car I just want something fun to cruise around in. Let me know what you guys think, pics will be coming soon!

do you have a hookup with Megan stuff? or are you a fanboy?
p.s. if you must go with lowering springs, i'd suggest Eibach compared to Megan, there more expensive but you get what you pay for.
in reality if you have steady money coming in, you should save for some coilovers

I was debating over megan vs eibach springs... although I may just save for coilovers... and as for the exhaust I just like the way the megan exhaust sounds.

Definitely going to get some 6k HID's, thinking about a lip kit and some rims, I just don't know what kind yet. Plus I just bought tires for the stock rims. Oh and doing 20% tint on her.

Re: Build Thread (01 EX Coupe)
Ok so say I decide to go with Eibach Sportlines... How much can I expect to pay for new shocks/struts, and where should I order them from.
Alright and lets say I decide to go with Rokkor coilovers for an EP3, where do I find reducing washers for the crash bolts?

As for the reduction washers, "ItWasn'tMe" had mentioned Ksport makes them(or made them). I've been looking around myself but no luck.

Reduction washers: http://www.ksportusa.com/store/index...products_id=49
I'd call and confirm that those are the part specifically for 16mm to 14mm applications.
I have been on blues with stock springs for a couple of years now. My rears are blown. I'd say get them if you are looking for an OEM replacement. Not sure how long they with last with your sportline drop though.

Re: Build Thread (01 EX Coupe)
Tokico blues are great! Running them and at 80k miles on em, still goin strong. Stiffened the ride up nicely...perfect for a weekend warrior and just as nice on a 10 hour road trip. Even better, you can get them for a hair over a 100 on the fronts and like 90 for the rears. Last time I saw that price it was at tirerack, but im sure thats pretty much the going rate on them just about anywhere

Re: Build Thread (01 EX Coupe)
Got my system in... I'll get a video and pics here soon... Sounds great, found out when I was in the trunk that someone put pioneer speakers in this thing so that was a plus haha. Next step is doing my exhaust because the previous owner did a hack job on it.... And still debating the whole spring vs coilover thing.
