Default Code P0974

Hello all! Just joined and hoping to get some advice with my 2005 Civic EX. My car was driving fine and all of a sudden the D light on the dash started flashing and check engine light came on then car barely moved, almost like it was in neutral. Car does reverse tho. Code came up P0974 Shift Solenoid A Control Circuit High. After checking the fluid, I reset the code and still not driving forward. I took it to a transmission repair shop and he replaced a linear solenoid that I bought and didn't fix the issue. Hes at a loss too after looking everything over and not finding the culprit. Anyone have this issue? My car has 214,000 miles on it and the transmission was flushed about 2 years ago.

I would check to make sure the voltage regulator in the altenator isnt bad. Ive heard this can cause issues. Where it seems to be only one code, it could be the transmission is kaput. As far as I know, the hybrid is the only one with a TCM. The others use the ECU to control shifting. I know that doesnt help much, but I would take it to get altenator, ecu, and transmission diagnosed at a reputable garage.
