how do i know if i have to replace the a/c compressor?
Yesterday i was driving in the interstate then i heard a hissing sound like a belt and the battery light turn on then i stopped to see whats happening and yes was a broken belt but now i replace it and it looks that the a/c compressor is stuck how do i know if i have to replace? or what i need to do??

 

Clutch should free wheel when ac compressor is not in use. Check to see if clutch bearing is seized.
