Hi, I have an error code P1457 on a 2002 Honda Civic (1.7L engine). How do I resolve this? Thanks!

That's an EVAP code (Evaporative emissions). It's the system that keeps fuel vapor from escaping into the air. Without a vacuum pump, multimeter and about 8 pages of the service manual you would have to take it to the mechanic. You're looking at $100-500 because they have to test several modules and inspect all the hoses around the fuel tank. You won't pass inspection with this code, but the car is totally driveable.

i had the same code on my 03 it was the evap control solenoid, found one on amazon for 26.00, it was kind of a pain because the screws were so rusty that the brass insrets in the canister twisted out too. but fixed it with 5/16-18 keenserts

Replace the EVAP by-pass shut valve and EVAP canister under the car.
