Default Wrinkle Red Paint Code??

well here goes....im shaving my valve cover and want to paint it the same wrinkle red as the Type R valve covers. does anyone know the paint code, or how i would locate this color?? also if anyone has any threads that have already been posted about this topic please post them up. thanks in advance

There isn't a paint code for it, you have to buy it mixed already. I am pretty sure of it.

Sorry I cant help you with the paint code. But you could go to the auto store and try out the red wrinke paint. If its not even close than you wasted 4 bucks.

if you put on thick coats it will be have more wrinkles, lighter coats - less. The OEM finish is somewhere inbetween there... May take you a couple tries to make it just right.
