I was wondering if anybody knows if there is any kind of tint that is non metallic?

actually its the glass that has metallic fibers in it. That is why EZPass in NY has a license plate mountable version of their pass for cars like audi who do have metallic weaving that interfere.

If there's window tint that has the same properties, its news to me.

 

There is metallic and non metallic tint. The reasom I need to know is that the alarm I have won't function properly if the tint is metallic.
