Default building my bros crx into a wide ***. Black widow 12 piece kit. 56k stay away.

my bros crx before we started the exterior mods.
( i didnt like it with the wing and the graphics but everyone has there own style.

heres the car when we started to tear it apart. Hood dissasembly, fenders and motor overhaul.

Wings west kit comes off and the hideous ricer boy wing is thankfully tanken off.

Since we were doing a major exterior change by adding the 12 piece black widow wide body kit the rear windows and rear quarters had to be kit to be molded like factory fitment.

The kit in raw form before we test fitted, screwed and molded the rear quarters. This kit is a pain in the **** to to put on but the outcome is my bros wishing.

heres the rear quarter molded to final fitment. The dimples on the quarter panel were also shaved.

Heres the test fitment of the rest of the car before fitment of the rest of the panels and hood. We started from the rear and worked our way forward. This process to 8 days.

more prepping before its block sanded and marhihde is applied.

I know a SOHC ZC motor is in place after i shot the engine bay ferrari red. Later we will possible do another major overhaul with a turbocharged H22A1 or somethiung but for now my bro reps the SOHC. My bro has to put money in his nex project so this will do for now.

finally after pushing and shoving and my bro and Adam a bad *** body guy finishing up the prep. We Marhide the whole body to fill in any scratches, pits etc etc.

at the shop after 2 1/2 weeks we start the finishing of block sanding and prep details.

Here I am doing some minor touches and taping of the cab etc. By the way the girl in the pic does her own **** (turbos, motor swaps, maintenance) need more chicks like that.

heres the final before i shoot the jams, under the hood. All tapped up.

Here i am shooting away. This process took me 4 hours total. This was done at 2am.

Heres the outcome of the jams. No color sanding needed here. No orange peel whatsover. Im happy.

the door jams and a glimpse of the bottom of the hood.

day two of painting. This process took a total of 9 hours painting and taping up the previous parts I painted the night before.

the car before I leave the booth and let it sit over night to bake for 2 days straight.

the car put together3 days later. Now as you read this I should be color sanding the body to get the full affect of the red and the permanent glass look.

more updates to come. The interior. Already done installed a 99 integra fully functional dash, roll cage, panels, carpet etc.

hope you enjoyed so far.

You should've at least made the edges line up better. I liked it better the way it was, honestly. But if your bro likes it that's all that matters. It does have a beefier look to it, definitely more fierce.

I got a few things..

First, Many people on HT don't go for the 'show' car thing, so be ready for the flames...

Second, nice choice in color and nice work overall on the body lines, molding the kit, prepping and paint, etc... Even though that isnt the style most people go for, i Thank You for doing something different, and doing it damn well. Rock on Ferrari Red!!!

Third, what kind of setup are you using to spray (i.e. compressor, gun, paint brand, etc...)

Thats all I got...

My SATA jet NR95 needs new seals now. But that gun I shot with was purchased from WALMART as a last minute attempt to test my skills. The gun will be used for primering from now on. The gun shoots like my SATA jet, only because it is new. The compressor is a dual 5 gallon sears set up.

I know many are not in to this show thing. My bro has done the race thing with the drag car. Decided to go show for now. I did mention to him the kit has a mustang apeal. Only thing I can do for my bro is support him.

Like many on this site, I love the simple look. No kits, wings or graphics.

Thanks for all the opinions. Flamming wont bother my bro, he is just getting other peoples draw backs. No hard feeling our way.

nice job on handling the flames.. good to see a nice sport through it all.. good work on the kit and all even though its not my thing as well.. its a hell of a lot better than a wing with graphics.. this actually takes time and money and a shitload of hard work.. im not gonna call rice on this one.. i believe they earned a good name.. and besides cant flame a show car really
