I had a leaky exhaust valve on cylinder #6 which would blow oil when coming off of boost, I also found 20% blow by on the same cylinder.
I am installing new rings, new head gaskets, ARP head bolts, and am also gutting the VVIS system, which is a restriction on boosted nsx's. At the same time, a new clutch, lightweight flywheel, and four-wheel big brake kit are being installed.

For engine removal, the entire rear sub-frame needs to be unbolted (as you can see in the above pictures), this is also somewhat required for items such as clutch replacement (not the entire sub-frame, but a portion of it), this is why a clutch job on these cars is an expensive undertaking, around $2500. Because these components are aluminum, air tools cannot be used for removal or assembly, as they could easily damage the thread.
New pistons installed, new rod bearings, new ring sets:

VVIS plate has been gutted, then sandblasted; variable intake butterflies removed, casting ground down, entry points for butterfly shafts removed and filled in with aluminum:

Engine back together:

New Brakes (old brakes on top, +2" diameter):
