300whp EK Civic and Accord Hawtness......(56k ftw.....not really.)
it's been a while since i have last posted pics. i got some new wheels (rota knock off's, sw388's or something like that ), built my motor, saw a dyno, and invited a good friend on mine (mom's taxi on h-t) for a little photo shoot. comments are always welcomed.
all pics taken with a Nikon D70 and no photoshop. (except the inverted color pic.)
Thanks for looking........
Here are the motorbuilt/Dyno pics:
Specs:
B16
81mm Wiseco 9.0:1 Pistons
Eagle Rods
Brand New OEM Lower End Sutf (water/oil pump, tensioner, etc.)
98 USDM ITR Head/Tranny
Spoolin Perf. Manifold/Downpipe to a 3" exhaust>2.5" es' oval muffler
750cc RC Eng. Injectors
Chrome
t3/t4 .57 Trim, .63 a/r Turbine
AVC-R Boost Controller
Dyno Graph (my scanner is fuct up, sorry guys.)
326HP, 197TQ at 1 Bar of boost.
the break at the top of the graph is from missfiring. i had the wrong plugs in there and the boost kept on blowing out the spark like a candle.

I understand what you are saying about the spark being "blown" out, i just dont think that the engine essenially shutting down would create that break in the graph.
Is not a dynomometre essentially a big moving drum, its not measuring the motor its measuring the wheels.
So motor cuts out, the wheels would continue to turn, I would expect in that case to see a dip in the curve of the graph.
Or was this a dyno measurment taken with the engine not in the car?
Apparently I am confused.
