i got 17's on my ek9 and my tires are 215-40-17
u guys think if i go smaller or i mean by goin with 35 instead of 40 that i can lower my car even more cuz its still sittin pretty high and i have adjustable coilover on them. Any feed back is appreciated. thanks

i dont think they make 35's in 17 with that width of the rims..40s only.

You will never get low with 17", get 16" or 15"....I got 16" and now i need to go 15" cause the tire is hitting the rear fender lol

You do realize that a 17 w/ a 40 series tire is the same as a 15" with the more popular sidewall heights right?

If you are so worried about being slammed. Instead of spending money on new tires, you should sell your wheels and tires and get some 16's with 205-45.

The 16's would only be .2 smaller. And, 15's would be .4 smaller.

Think of width my man. The 17's have a 10 mm wider tire, which means with a 205 tire you could tuck the tire, but not with a 215.

get 15 with 195/51/15 or some 16s 205/40/16 that would be easy to slam

15's and some 195/50/15's would look really good. And, it'd probably bring you down considerably in ride height.

I think 17 is too big for any civic hatch... it makes your car look like ur trying to be "all about the wheels," when they arent even that breathtaking... not hating, just saying...
