Default Headlight HELP!!!!

My friend was trying to clean this paint off his head lights and this is what happen



I dunno what he use.. Im guessing paint thinner thinkin it was glass... jst trying to help him im guessing some 3m rubbing compund ,some polishing and a buffer should help.. any help would be good

nothing will get paint thinner out, it soaked into the plastic

yea i think he is fucked. i think any honda or acura dealer can buff the headlights for scratches and **** but i dont think it will work. i Know that meguires mag and aluminum polish for wheels works to clean plastic but thats not gonna help but its worth a try

yeah man, looks pretty bad. I think 3m also makes a plastic polish that you can try, and maybe with some good buffing it'll come out...and if that fails, then hit up the classifieds on here, lots of people are selling teg headlights.. good luck man

is paint thinner strong enough to do that? Looks like he used paint stripper or something. Either way, looks like he's fawked.

my friend mauricio said that you can use "mettal polisher" it will take off the first layer... i dont know if it will work. but he knows people that did that ****. try it and see... ita all your fault mikey its all your fault!!!!!
