How many of you have your emblems shaved? Such as your H, A, dohc vtec or dx, Im thinking of taking off my civic and Hx emblem because i have all red tails and I think it would clean with just the on the back.

 

I had my emblems shaved, cost about $200 - they had to weld and repaint of course. But I believe and HX emblem is held on by glue, no holes in body/trunk. Correct me if I'm wrong...

b21a is right. The "HX" emblem is just stuck on there with some sticky stuff. Same with the "Civic" emblem. Only emblem that has holes behind it that needs to be filled on 6th gen civics is th "H"

 

Are the 'H's on the 5th gen civics held w/ screws on the hood? Also, I have the super-gay emblems on the back that are like stickers, the "civic" and the "ex", how the hell do I get those off?

 

you can get the ones in the back off by taking a hairdryer, or a heat gun to them and then running some fishing line behind there......then all you will have to do is rub the left over **** off.......works like a charm
