Default To do or not to do?

i have to get my car painted again do to a huge dent in the QP so im trying to figure out whether or not i should shave the side moldings. let me know what you guys think.... although i think i have a pretty good idea on what im going to do.

heres my car today (actually its like 3" lower i like my cars SLAmmEd!!)

I think it' much cleaner without them. I've noticed taht tehy're never placed anywhere that prevent real dents, so why not?

Ok so yes the obvious answer is shave it i just wanted to see if their are any good reasons not to...

Should i go with a 98+ front

^not my question..... and its not the wheels that are too big its the tires (those are 215-45-17) now i have 205 40- and im slammed w/ no problems.


ANYWAY... Has anyone ever had problems shaving the moldings with bondo??? or does everyone weld them. let me know
