Car impounded
just a simple question. my friend has a piece of **** car that was impounded. just wondering, can he leave the car at the impound forever just cause he don't want it anymore?

Agreed, you can leave it there all you want but you will DEFFINITELY pay for it, unless they auction it off for enough to cover the charges, but if they don't you'll have phone calls and knocks at the door wanting the rest of the money. Eventually they can take legal action against you.
pretty sure they'll just stack the storage fees. you'll get a phone call in about 3 years with them asking you for large sums of money.
get it out of impound and donate it to one of those car charities, then get a tax break or something.
