Took my 94 GSR to the shop to have painted, and I had the 98 bumper put on at the same time.

I go to pick it up, and the fenders and the front bumper are not matching properly. They said they need a rubber strip that comes stock on the 98 integras that go in between the fenders and the front bumper. This black rubber strip I am talking about is also present right underneat the hood.

I am very confused, I don't know if getting this rubber strip is worth it or not. I am also missing the rubber strip that is supposed to go underneath the hood. Personally, I like it without the rubber strip but I am worried that it is supposed to be there for some reason that I don't know.
