my 5th gen sedan with new paintjob flame/praise welcome....(56k no!)
I love how it turned out, the color is chevrolet indigo dark blue. I know a lot of people hate the black widow bumper and the hood ...but I think it looks great <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://rely.net/~htimages/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> . The stock stuff was painted also because I will eventually mess it up or get tired of this look but let me know what you think.....oh yeah I have nothin to back up these looks until spring when the b18b goes in.... little low on cash funds after this...
sorry if that was too many pics

I think it looks nice, but PLEASE, drop that thing. The 4x4 takes so much away from the new kit and paint!

i really don't understand the appeal of that hood and bumper, but i digress...
at least drop the poor thing. it's like a civic outback.

If you had the whole kit and a little bit more of a drop I would give it two thumbs up.

new paint jobs always look good in pictures... the strength and quality of the paintjob will reveal itself over time. i had my 93 hatch painted s2k silver, so i know about all the woes of painting a car over. nothing beats OEM paint - ever.
$1460 for all that seems pretty low. did you have some sort of hookup?
also the car looks imbalanced.. too much on the front and not enough on the rear... i made that mistake with my 2000 EBP si, and it looked too front heavy. i'd say finish the kit and it'll look better. plus the drop of course.
good luck.

I think it looks ok. The only thing that I would do is level out the styling on your car. The front bumper looks weird there by itself with no sides or rear. I love the colour though. but lower that biatch.

yeah 1460 was a hookup and I am hopin the paint will last for a long time I got a really good deal on the bumper and hood so I went for it but I am sure it will look really nice when I switch it back to stock. I was thinking of adding something else like sideskirts or a rear bumper but I dont know what to go with any suggestions might be helpful cuz i have extra paint to use

Ditch the wheels, hood, bumper, wipers, and it will look good. I use to have a yellow four door with a carbon fiber hood and stock body parts it looks a lot better that way.
