2008 Accord Special Editions
Unveiled at SEMA a couple of days ago.
The red car is the HFP 6-6 Coupe. Body parts and the huge wheels are already available. The suspension will be available in March of 2008.
The other car is a proposed special edition featuring a lot of visuals, called the HF-S package. Might or might not make it as a package depending on public reaction. It has a lot of LED's front and rear...kind of weird.
You know what we really need on this HFP Coupe? We need a Honda Torsen axle to put that 270 HP to the ground in a hard heel.

Absolutely gorgeous. I definitely can't wait to scope out an '08 coupe on the streets... only come across several sedans so far. The styling grows on you fast and it seems like Honda has really outdone the Accord brand this time (in a good way), it's definitely a breath of fresh air and a step above other generations . They'll sell like hotcakes (even after they insanely mark-up the prices on the 6-6).
I'm debating whether or not to trade in my '06 especially after seeing the new coupe...lol well... out with the old, in with the new right?
Thanks for sharing!

I am a student at Ohio State University, and I have seen a few of the sedans around, and I think they look pretty nice. I could swear though that I saw a blue coupe roaming around the streets. Either way, the ones pictured above look pretty good.

I have an '06 6-6 HFP Coupe, too. I like what they're doing with the '08 HFP Coupe, but I don't like it enough to get rid of a car I bought just two years ago.
Know what, though? If they'd had the TL-S Torsen axle on the '08 6-6 Coupe, I'd already have one ordered.

Well, you were smart to get yourself a 6-6. I, on the otherhand, wandered into the path of darkness and ended up with a 5sp Auto. For some reason the 6-6's were extremely limited in the Bay Area when I was looking a year ago and I only came across one that was marked up close to 27.5k with 15k miles. Yikes!
By the way, the front HFP lip on your coupe look amazing.

The Cpe is straight sex. How much are they running for? And, you're right, the 7th gen 6-6 is a blast to drive. I jump in my boys whenever I can .

i have a 2008 black on black ex-L V6 sedan and i love the car. The feel of this car is upscale, it could have been an Acura.

How do you feel about the multiconfiguration motor? Do you feel it switching configurations (adding or subtracting cylinders)?
Is there a delay in acceleration when going from cruise at 40 to full throttle?
NOTE: Since we were talking about the 6-6 Coupe, I should point out that the 6-6 Coupe does not have the motor he has in his EX-L V6. The motor in the 6-6 Coupe is an old fashioned straight-VTEC motor with a dual stage intake manifold.

Hello all,
I own a 2008 Accord Coupe EX-L 4cyl model. The car in itself is beautiful. I got it in black and I took the Nissan Altima coupe for a test drive, but did not compare price wise or styling for me. All in all I can say the car is a head turner. So far no one has pegged it for a Honda, I get it, " is that a Lexus, or a new Infiniti?" Right now I am looking into getting a HID conversion kit for the car as it was not an option. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am looking at Phillips or a McCulloch 10000K kit. Thanks and to all, definitely check this car out.

The first thing I'd suggest is that you change your temperature requirement. 4300 is pure white, and the farther away from that you get, the less visible light you will actually throw forward.

i dont feel it going to 4 and then 3 cylinders. There is the slight delay under 20mph when punching the the throttle.

Thank you. I just found that out today, the lower the K rating the brighter the light. Right now I am looking at either 6000k or 5000k. I think I am going to go with the phillips 6000k plug and play..
