Default 2014 accord V6 laggy throttle response fix needed

Hello,
Anyone had good luck with finding a way to improve laggy throttle response.
Hesitant to try a pedal commander.
Been waiting for Banks to market a throttle response improver for V6 accord.

Thanks for any help / experience you can share.

have you looked into a hondata reflash?

check with their tech support to confirm throttle mapping is part of that service. I can't see why not.

you could also check out FlashPro instead if you plan to do anything beyond your stated goal (ie, add power).

Thanks for the reply. A reflash would be difficult since I don't have an extra ECU and can't be without the vehicle. But it does sound very interesting.
The issue I have seems to be the ECU wants to see the car come to near a full stop before forwarding pedal position to the throttle body. If I stop completely
the response is fine/ immediate. But if I roll up to an intersection and don't need to stop and coast around the corner while pressing the pedal there is no response
from engine for second or two. Too long whatever it is. Very annoying. If this "feature" could be disabled or reduced with a tuning software (honddata(?) I'd be tempted
to purchase the software. Always wanted to see ECU data. I am worried something like Pedal Commander would increase sensitivity but not necessarily remove/mask
the delay. Thanks again

Now that you've described in a little more detail, you may want to check the air intake hose between the filter box and throttle body for cracks or other leak points. also see if the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned.

I'll look things over and spray the MAF sensor with cleaner. Don't believe it's ever been done in the 95000mi

cleaning the MAF sensor in my sons Civic (200000+mi) help him out a couple years ago.

Thanks
