So you don't know if it'll work with your setup, and you don't know what it does.

Why are you asking about it?

I know what it does just didn't know if it would work on OBD2b PCB ECU. I just found out its a Apexi vafc 2 And i think this will work on all Honda ECU's

yes you can use a vtec controller with your swap. You most likely won't benefit from it with out a wide band and some tuning.

I'm running a Fields controller and the only thing it's good for is to remove the speed limiter of the JDM ECU

You may wanna do some searching on the VAFC.

I think you'll find they are often more trouble than they are worth. Like crx_91si said, it will need to be tuned by someone who knows them well.

Even then, you won't get much out of it compared to real tuning software and hardware.

I mainly wanted it so i can adjust VTEC RPM engagement. Is there a cheaper way to do this?

there's no point in adjusting Vtec. IMO, the factory ECU does a good job and from my personal experience, setting the VTEC any lower then the 5500rpm makes it slower. But yeah if your set on it, let me know, i have wiring diagrams of the ecu pin-outs.

True unless you have a modified motor. my engagement is at 4100. it actually still needs to come down some but for now that works.

without proper tuning there is no need to change the vtec engagement point. it will most likley hurt your power because the motor will need more fuel and the stock ecu will not know to increase flow.

Yea thanks for the info, think im going to try Hondata. If im going to spend the money i want something thats worth it! I also read a little bit about Neptune. But it seems Hondata is the way to go.

What are you thoughts on these two? Cause im very interested in getting into tuning or maybe just a supercharger. Just not sure if thats worth the money.

from everything i have heard a supercharger is a b**** to find that will even fit our engines, even more so to make that one fit in our engine bay since it is actually made for preludes (which have more room between the engine and firewall,) and they don't seem to have that great of results with the few who have done it especially when you factor in how much more they cost than a nice turbo setup and how much more of a PITA they are. based on what i have heard i say stay N/A or go turbo. i am definitely no boost guru, i have never built a boosted engine of any type, but my job allows me to spend most of my days on HT so i read a lot.

I would agree with most of this. Unless you really want a supercharger, its much easier to go the turbo route.

If you want power on demand just use a smaller turbo. It won't be as quick to boost as the supercharger, but it'll still be plenty quick.
