Throwing a code 5 someone please help
ok my jdm h22a is throwing a code 5 which is the mapping sensor I think and I'm wondering where is the mapping sensor located and if I unhook the sensor how will my car run and also where can I find one that won't cost me a leg
What year H22? Most new honda's have the MAP sensor located on the top of the throttle body. You can get a new one at a dealer there not to expensive.
mine did that once or twice. i just jiggled it around and the code went away. I think haynes manual even says to move it around first, before suspecting its bad.
the map isnt attached to the TB its should mounted on the firewall.
btw your car will not run w/o the map.
