If it ain't broke don't replace it.

If it is, tie rod (outer/inner)
ball joints upper or lower.
Or if there are any bent parts.

especially if you're buying some cheap chinese remufactured CV's

I've been through a nightmare of vibration issues and clunking from garbage CV axles...

Buy Raxles or buy factory axles from a JDM importer. If it doesn't have a balancer bushing don't put it on your car!

Why on earth would you suggest buying unknown condition used OEM axles from an importer? You are 10,000 times better off purchasing new OEM from the dealer.

Several users have 300+ hp to the wheels and are using new OEM axles without issue.

Tierods were looking tired on my '99 with 160k I put Moog problem solvers on both sides with grease nipples for $40 before I got a alignment.

Another question with our double wishbone front suspension do you HAVE to re-align the car after front strut replacment??

After replacing the struts I would recommend it. Just because you're loosening up all those components and risk wiggling them. Something like a sway bar I'd be less concerned about.

Assuming you're doing a stock for stock replacement the difference/change would be minimal (hopefully) but for optimal tire life you probably want to have it double checked.

Thanks, do I HAVE to take the ball joints apart to put new struts in?
