Post any numbers you have on a sticker in your glovebox and we should be able to give you a code. Also try holding the 1 + 6 buttons and turn your radio on, if it displays a code give me that as well.

No sticker in glove box with numbers. When I 1 + 6 down I get C6? My VIN# is 1HGCG6675YA035303.

What I need is the serial # from your radio. Look on your fuse box covers, in door jambs and anywhere else you may think of for the sticker. Otherwise you need to pull the radio out and get the number from the top of the radio. What your looking for is a white rectangular sticker with a series of numbers (and/or) letters. If you give me that i'll be able to get it for you.

Here's how to take the radio out:

Start at Step 20 (and skip #22/#23). It's not a hard job at all.

Now that's how the system should work. (take notes everybody)

i had the same problem, you just call a honda dealer and give them the serial, they wont charge you a thing. they give you a 5 digit code and you enter it in and itll unlock

This happened to me too. this is what you should do. call the dealership and ask for electronics department. tell them your battery died and you need the code. if you give them the VIN number on it they can look up your account and give you the stereo code.
