looking for a used srs module replacement for my 95 EX. The module number in the vehicle now is 77960-sv4-308. I have seen alot of similar part numbers on ebay, etc. Are they interchangeable and is there a cross reference for any newer modules that will work.

there are no interchangeability here. It has to match the same company that made the the air bags, and each is model yr specific. You should go to Honda with your VIN number for the latest model of the SRS unit. Over many years now, I kept asking the dealer about the SRS unit and there has been at the very least 4 major changes in the part number for it. thats why I would just buy one from them and avoid any possible problems.

 

I tried the dealer route but once they update the part number they cannot go back and pull up the discontinued one (more than one dealers words)...no big deal, found a used one on ebay. Thanks.
